Bigstone Community Wellness is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Full-Time Receptionist to join our talented Health Team for the Bigstone communities in which we serve in Wabasca, Calling Lake, and Chipewyan Lake.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and effectively communicate with all visitors/clients
- General office duties: filing, typing correspondence/reports, take minutes at meetings and maintain filing system
- Receive, direct, and take messages from incoming callers in a professional and friendly manner
- Liaise with clients/visitors, respond, and refer to appropriate team members
- Schedule, notify and remind clients for appointments
- Receive and record incoming and outgoing mail
- Complete photocopying and faxing assignments as required
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with BHC policy
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good organizational skills, make sound decisions and act quickly in critical circumstances
- Good knowledge of office procedures, data collection and reporting
- Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work in a diverse environment
- Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with BHC policy
- Ability to speak Cree is an asset
Education and Experience:
- Office Administration Certificate or equivalent
- Two (2) years office experience
- Must be a team player who is flexible and adaptable to change
- Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
- Provide own transportation
- Willing to attend training as required
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture and language is a definite asset
