🚨 Hiring | Lead AI Test Engineer | Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 3–4 Days Onsite/Week) | 12+ Months Contract
We're looking for an experienced Lead AI Test Engineer (QA Lead) to join a leading Capital Markets team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Front Office Trading Technology experience who can lead QA initiatives while remaining hands-on with AI testing and automation.
✅ Must-Have Skills 🔹 8+ years of Software Testing experience 🔹 3+ years in a QA Lead/Team Lead role 🔹 Capital Markets & Front Office Trading Technology experience (Mandatory) 🔹 AI Testing, AI Agent Testing & GenAI experience (Mandatory) 🔹 Python (5+ years) with automation development 🔹 Selenium, Behave, Cypress or Playwright 🔹 Test Automation Framework Design & Development 🔹 API Testing & Performance Testing (Locust) 🔹 Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins & CI/CD 🔹 SDLC, Agile & QA Strategy 🔹 QA Team Leadership, Mentoring & Stakeholder Management 🔹 Test Planning, Release Testing, RCA & Test Environment Management
Responsibilities ✔ Lead AI/GenAI quality engineering initiatives ✔ Test AI-based solutions and AI agents ✔ Design and enhance automation frameworks ✔ Mentor QA engineers and drive testing best practices ✔ Collaborate with Development, Product & Business teams ✔ Own quality strategy, automation, release testing and continuous improvement
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite/week) 📅 Duration: 12+ Months Contract
