About the Role
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate physical education and health pro-
gramming for students in grades [7–9]
- Plan and deliver high-quality physical education and health instruction aligned with the Alberta
Program of Studies
- Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for students of diverse abilities
and interests
- Teach and model skills related to movement, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal
well-being

Support student well-being and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment.

Participate in the broader life of the school through coaching and community involvement.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor of Education, major in Physical Education is preferred.

Valid Alberta Teacher Certification.

Experience teaching physical education and health at the junior high level.
-
A student-centered, inclusive approach to education.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Enthusiasm for contributing to school life beyond the classroom.

The school briefly opened a branch in Ottawa but it was later closed. The school offers a program known as Class Afloat that provides students with an educational experience while sailing around the world.
