Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Senior Corporate Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This role is responsible for supporting financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities across a diverse portfolio of investments. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who values accuracy, meets deadlines, and works effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
• Assist with consolidation accounting across multiple entities
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts
• Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process
• Support financial covenant calculations and lender reporting
• Assist with tax compliance and related filings
• Liaise with on‑site accounting teams across assets under management
• Coordinate with external accountants during year‑end review engagements
• Help develop, document, and improve accounting processes and standard operating procedures

Your strengths include:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in an accounting role
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA credentials
• Working knowledge of ASPE and Canadian tax requirements
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting systems
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Strong organizational skills with a process‑driven and deadline‑focused mindset
