Hiring Faculty /Unit: School of Continuing Studies / Global and Strategic Communication

Casual part-time job for 4 - 5 months

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of high complexity and the incumbent performs them using general instruction.

The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and supervising exams as well as coordinating conversation partners under supervision of the Centre Head and the Program Manager.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Organizing conversation partner schedules according to course needs and availability.
  • Monitoring availability, coordinating rotation, and maintaining an efficient calendar.
  • Providing logistical and organizational support during the recruitment process of conversation partners.
  • Serving as a point of contact and support for active conversation partners.
  • Assisting in scheduling exams and creating timetables in accordance with departmental and CCIP guidelines.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  • Providing support for exams to ensure smooth operation and compliance with regulations.
  • Updating exams schedule on the CCIP portal and regularly updating related information.
  • Opening and closing exam sessions on the CCIP portal, as well as assisting for the test sessions on-site.
  • Working closely with the Centre Head for logistical and administrative coordination.
  • The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent. For example, incumbents may be asked to perform some elements of Office Assistant level “A” and/or “B” in addition to the above listed functions.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and resolve issues. Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
