PRIMARY FUNCTION

This role provides dedicated financial support in the creation of all master data (cost elements, internal orders, GL accounts, etc.) to ensure compliance with MIS guidelines and Ministry of Health Reporting requirements.

Strong focus on financial reporting for internal and external reporting, including recognition of revenue from global and activity based funding.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Revenue recognition for all hospital global and all activity based funding.

  • Oversight of periodic inventory accounting processes and year-end reconciliations, and other journal entry transactions.

  • Master data creation and maintenance ensuring compliance with MIS guidelines

  • Reporting and analysis for stakeholders and programs, including but not limited to: monthly internal financial reports, quarterly Ministry reporting and year-end audited financial statements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA (Certified Professional Accountant)

  • 1-3 years hospital financial reporting (3+ years preferred)

  • Advanced excel training, ERP

  • OHRS certificates (preferred)

  • Proven ability to attend work regularly.

  • Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The applicant must be able to meet the physical demands of this position.
