About the role
We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.
As a Visitation Specialist you will work airside and communicate with local representatives and flight crews on a daily basis to assist and ensure catering operations are smooth and according to specifications. Your ability to work courteously and represent Gate Gourmet as a professional at all times is critical because you serve as liaison between customers and the operations teams.
Job Specific Requirements:
- Ability to obtain & maintain a YVR Restricted Access pass (RAIC) and airside vehicle operators permit
- Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean Driver’s abstract
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems and think quickly under stressful circumstances
Our Employees Must Be Able to:
- Work assigned schedule which may include various shifts, weekends and holidays
- Work Overtime when required
- Follow written specifications and directions
- Good communication skills reading/ writing
- Communicate with Supervisors and co-workers
- Follow directions
- Work as a member of a team
Environmental Requirements:
- Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
