Loewen Windows and Doors is looking for an Architectural Consultant to join the Product Marketing team. This position requires excellent decision making and problem-solving skills along with strong time management and communication abilities. In this role you will interact with internal and external customers, so proven customer service experience is necessary. In this role you will:
- Be the in-house point of contact for Architects
- Provide internal project management on special projects
- Provide architectural solutions for Architects, Loewen Dealers, Loewen Architectural Territory Managers (ATMs), Loewen Territory Managers (TMs) and Customer Order Services
- Maintain knowledge of current issues and practices in the architectural industry
- Review project drawings and specifications
- Ensure product meets written specifications and is suitable for the specified job
- Maintain a sound understanding of new and changing Loewen products and policies
- Maintain an understanding of building codes and practices
What you will bring:
- Window industry and/or architectural experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently (self-motivated)
- Drafting/blueprint reading and drawing experience (including CAD)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to build and foster strong relationships
- Decision making and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office experience
The following will be considered assets:
- Knowledge of Loewen product
- 3D modeling experience
