SENIOR MANAGER SALES EXECUTION

Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Sales Execution is responsible for driving the development and deployment of programs to ensure consistent store sales across the Division. Focus areas include service, store appearance, in-stock levels, process improvements, supply chain/logistics, and labour productivity enhancements. The incumbent identifies and addresses current or future business issues, develops improvement plans, and collaborates extensively with cross-functional leaders, including senior leadership, Regional Directors of Operations, District Managers, Vendors, and others.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute sales projects to enhance customer service and improve the bottom line.
- Ensure operational consistency and execution across all stores.
- Manage direct reports in the Sales Execution function and oversee strategic projects and process improvements.
- Develop and implement new and existing sales/service programs like Mystery Shops and VOC; evaluate their effectiveness.
- Create and deliver world-class reporting (e.g., Service Scorecard) to measure service improvements.
- Strategize and roll out Store Playbooks to enhance store outbound processes.
- Manage the Workload Management (WLM) system.
- Set goals and action steps for short-term and long-term success in processes and programs.
- Identify concerns in Sales Execution, present solutions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and external stakeholders critical to success.
- Mentor, lead, and provide insights to direct reports.
- Manage Sales Execution projects using metrics for success, training, and implementation timelines.
- Participate in strategic and operational planning to align projects with company goals.
- Solve complex organizational issues using strategic thinking.
- Prepare and present insights based on industry, competitive, and consumer data.
- Oversee budget preparation and financials.
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of store operations and financial analysis.
- Quantitative skills in statistics and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects and store demands.
- Proficiency in software tools and computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication (written and oral) and presentation abilities.
- Ability to mentor and lead direct reports.
