Posting Period: February 05, 2026 - February 11, 2026 Position Summary The Coordinator is an experienced Registered Nurse who works under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Support Services to coordinate the delivery of high quality inter-professional services for Interventional Psychiatry (IVP). The Coordinator supports the efficient operation of the assigned areas and facilitates change through continuous quality improvement to meet the care needs of our
patients/clients and stakeholders.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor degree in a Nursing Program An equivalent combination of recent related education and experience may be considered
- Current unrestricted Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- One year experience in a Interventional Psychiatry setting minimum
- 6 months of acute or post-acute Medical-Surgical experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support with Automated External Defibrillator training required
- Minimum 6 months RN in charge/coordinator experience in a IVP clinic/critical care setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, preferred
- One year of PACU or Critical Care experience or Critical Care Course, preferred
- Inpatient mental health nursing experience an asset
Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate both inpatient/client and outpatient/client treatments for ECT, rTMS, IV Ketamine, and Esketamine inhalation by: scheduling client appointment; ensure required medical information and specific physician orders are in place
- Provide patient/client education regarding relevant treatment e.g.: ECT, rTMS, IV Ketamine, or Esketamine inhalation
- Supports and empowers staff as a role model, to contribute to the delivery of high quality care
- Provides clinical front-line expertise in all aspects of care delivery within the service
- Strives to anticipate needs and to meet or exceed standards of internal and external patient service delivery
- Facilitates patient flow and access to appropriate IVP services based on triage, and patient needs
- Assists the Manager, Clinical Support Services in providing leadership within the practice setting by ensuring compliance of self and others with professional standards, legislation and the Mission, Vision and Values of Providence Care
