Who you are
You are a tech-savvy, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) subject matter expert, who can translate business processes into real-time solutions. You bring a strong knowledge of ERP systems and are passionate about developing and designing processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy and overall user experience.
You should be an exceptional communicator and problem-solver who can effectively collaborate with our different functional areas: Finance, HR and Payroll.
This is a great opportunity for someone with technical skills who is looking to gain systems knowledge within Workday and work within a collaborative and fun team environment!
What you’ll get to do
Reporting to the Manager, Workday Product Solutions, this role provides leadership, expertise, service excellence and innovation to advance the organization’s strategic priorities. The role identifies business requirements, designs solutions, and configures, tests and implements system updates. Other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that Workday Business Sponsor priorities are reflected in BC Assessment’s product roadmap.
- Consulting with various program areas to determine support requirements, building reports, analyzing trends and preparing informative reports.
- Delivering and developing end user training and system guides and communication plans which clearly explain system changes.
- Leading project teams and identifying project goals, scope, deliverables, communication and change management plans and determining project measures.
- Working collaboratively with IT employees and vendors to ensure service performance and implementation of process improvements or technical enhancements.
- Setting work priorities and standards; planning and assigning work and monitoring and auditing progress.
- Conducting appraisals, providing feedback and identifying training needs and priorities.
This position is excluded from the bargaining unit.

- Compensation: $97,634 - $119,295
- Competition Close Date: Sunday, September 28th, 2025 @ 11:59PM (PST)
The salary range provided is based on our current Management salary structure. The successful candidate's placement will consider qualifications, experience, market norms, and internal equity. The typical recruitment range spans from the minimum ($97,634) to the mid-range ($113,892), with the potential to advance to the maximum through performance-based increases.
What you bring to the team
Education
- Degree in business analysis, business administration, accounting, human resources, or information systems.
- Certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) is beneficial.
Experience
- Four (4) years of experience leading ERP administration and analysis.
- Four (4) years of Finance, HR, and/or payroll, experience is preferred.
- Experience leading projects and implementing business process improvements
- Experience interpreting and implementing collective agreement requirements into payroll processes.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel including the ability to work with large amounts of data and complex files.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
