As a Landscape Maintenance Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in leading crews and ensuring the highest standards of site quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and coordinating daily landscaping crew activities such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and irrigation installation to ensure safe and efficient execution
Maintaining site quality to meet client expectations, including weed control, fertilization schedules, and seasonal enhancements
Managing equipment, supplies, and safety compliance, including tool maintenance, inventory control, and adherence to safety protocols and regulations
Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders to assess needs, provide progress updates, and adjust plans based on priorities and weather conditions
Documenting completed work, tracking time and materials, and preparing progress reports for project managers and clients
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a landscape maintenance foreman or crew lead
Experience supervising landscaping crews of 2–3 people
Hands-on experience with residential landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, weeding, and flowerbed care
Experience communicating directly with residential clients regarding job needs and progress updates
Ability to operate a zero-turn mower and a truck with trailer
Strong knowledge of weed control, fertilization schedules, and seasonal landscape enhancements
Valid driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand or walk for extended periods
English proficiency sufficient for work communication
Ability to drive between multiple job sites during the day
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in horticulture or a related field
