Business Development Executive
About the role
We’re seeking a driven Business Development Executive (Logistics) with a hunter mindset and deep understanding of cold chain logistics. Based in the Hamilton, ON region , this hybrid role blends strategic sales with hands-on client engagement, including facility tours and drop-in BD. Ideal for someone confident in consultative selling and passionate about temperature-sensitive supply chain solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS - Business Development Executiv e (Logistics)
- Proven success in B2B logistics sales, ideally with cold chain or temp-sensitive goods (food, pharma, biotech)
- Strong rapport-building skills with supply chain managers, procurement leads, and C-suite executives
- Experience selling 3PL services, warehousing, and transportation solutions
- Familiarity with RFQs, contract negotiations, and long sales cycles
- Comfortable tailoring sales approach to technical and financial buyer personas
- Uses data-driven visuals (KPIs, temp logs, case studies) to reinforce value
- Industry knowledge of cold chain compliance and operational excellence
- Reliable transportation required for client visits and facility tours
- Unilingual candidates welcome; multilingualism is a bonus
