Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Develop and maintain long term PM/PCR forecasts and scenarios for budgetary considerations.
  • Plan yearly inventory requirements based on the maintenance strategy for each fleet and adjust the sealift orders accordingly.
  • Work with Asset Management to confirm the sealift orders reflect what we plan to consume during the year and consider safety-stock additions.
  • Manage repairable spares, as well as core returns for PCR use.
  • Develop and revise the PCR plan to include the identification of required internal and external resources: services, materials and parts, tools, equipment, and procedures with estimated task durations.
  • Attend management meetings for three-month reviews and forecasts. Provide clarity and input about historical performance and upcoming major work.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the PCR backlog, investigate irregularities, and close historical completions with documentation.

What You Need To Succeed

  • A technical or university degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Two years of planning experience, with a total of five years in the maintenance field.
  • Previous mining experience.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.

Your Work Schedule

  • Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
