WORK YOU’LL DO
As a Data Governance Lead, you will work closely with our clients, leading and coaching cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data governance strategies that enable trusted, well-governed data. You will shape roadmaps and guide teams in the end-to-end delivery of data governance projects.
Our Services Include:
- Data Governance Frameworks: Develop governance approaches aligned with business priorities and regulatory needs.
- Data Catalog & Metadata Management: Design solutions to improve data discovery, understanding, and reuse.
- Data Quality Management: Create processes and controls for measuring, monitoring, and improving data quality.
- Operating Models & Stewardship: Define sustainable roles, responsibilities, and workflows across the organization.
Leading Responsibilities:

Analyze current data management and governance maturity levels, identify gaps, and propose actionable strategies for improvement.

Develop and tailor governance operating models, policies, and data stewardship frameworks.

Support data classification, lineage, and metadata management initiatives.

Assist in designing and implementing data quality measurement and monitoring systems.

Interview client stakeholders to understand pain points related to data ownership, access, and quality.

Support business case creation and roadmap planning for data governance programs.

Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, providing expertise on data governance in architecture, processes, and operating models.

Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand and technology evolution.

Leveraging Accenture’s international assets and expertise to bring new ideas to clients.
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics
- 3–5 years of cross-industry consulting or data governance experience.
- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data management best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with data governance and metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) considered a plus.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering concepts, including ETL development, pipelines, and building scalable data solutions.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other leading BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of data modeling and enterprise architecture principles is a strong advantage.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect governance initiatives to business priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
