About the role
Our Ottawa based, public sector client is seeking an experienced SAP Fiori Consultant to implement, customize, and optimize SAP Fiori solutions while providing SOP creation, training, and knowledge transfer. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance worker productivity, and ensure seamless integration with existing SAP systems.
Work Model: 100% Onsite –Ottawa, ON
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours/day
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing data systems and business processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and identify process optimization opportunities
- Develop SOPs, training documentation, and conduct training sessions/workshops
- Implement SAP Fiori enhancements, ensuring best practices and industry standards are applied
- Create process flow maps for current and future states with SMEs
- Monitor system performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project documentation
- Contribute to project planning, WBS creation, resource allocation, and risk management
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience with each of the following:
- SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, Gateway, OData services, ABAP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SAP HANA, Power BI
- Proven experience creating SOPs and delivering end-user training
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience in business analysis, project management, and process improvement initiatives
Education & Certifications
- 4-year university degree in Computer Science, Programming, or equivalent
- SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application Developer (or equivalent)
- Accreditation in Business Transformation considered an asset
