Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on, experienced leader to oversee and guide our landscape maintenance crews. As a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, while fostering a high-performing team environment.Candidates with experience in residential landscape maintenance will be best positioned for success in this role. Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeam Supervision:Manage and lead landscape maintenance crews, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.Assign tasks and oversee the completion of daily work schedules.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.Operations Management:Plan and prioritize landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, pruning, fertilization, and pest control.Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and budget requirements are met.Conduct routine site inspections to assess maintenance needs and identify areas for improvementClient Interaction:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.Provide recommendations for property enhancements and landscape improvements.Equipment and Inventory:Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inventory of tools, machinery, and equipment.Ensure proper use and storage of equipment to prolong its lifespanRecord Keeping and Reporting:Maintain records of maintenance activities, employee schedules, and site conditions.Prepare and submit reports on crew performance, project status, and expenses.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with Salisbury’s Health and Safety Program and company policies.Enforce the use of protective gear and safe work practices. QualificationsBackground in horticulture or a related field is considered an assetExperience working in and running residential Landscape crews is preferredProven experience in landscape maintenance and crew supervisionStrong knowledge of landscaping practices, tools, and equipmentExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret landscaping plans and specificationsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and performing physically demanding tasks.Valid Class 5 driver's licence and three years of personal insurance Interested in joining our Team?
