EFFECTIVE DATE : Immediately
SCHEDULE : 35 hours/week, 12 months/year (Non-Union position)
ANNUALIZED SALARY: $85,468 – $96,140
Reporting to the IT Supervisors, the Business Systems Analyst aligns organizational processes and workflows with the technical infrastructure to ensure seamless operational procedures. The focus is on maintaining system integrity, automating workflows, and providing Level II technical support to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.
Responsiblities & Duties
- Systems Administration & Access Control: Manage user lifecycle, permissions, data integrity and reporting for the Board's Absence Management/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- SharePoint Administrator: overseeing site architecture, permissions, and document libraries
- Process Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system workflows
- Reporting: Generate custom Board reports and maintain comprehensive system documentation to ensure operational sustainability
- Data & Business Intelligence: Utilize SQL Management for data querying and database maintenance
- Automation & Technical Support: Design and implement efficiency-boosting workflows using Power Automate
- Leverage Business Intelligence tools to transform raw data into actionable insights and executive-level reporting
- Provide Level 2 Technical Support and dedicated customer service, resolving complex issues escalated from the help desk related to core business applications
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum three years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting
- Experience with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL and database querying for reporting and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, power query, macros)
- Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and use them to improve current infrastructure
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic self-empowered environment and participate concurrently on multiple projects
- Skilled at developing accurate project timelines and documentation
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
