Who you are
- A successful Account Executive has demonstrated success selling outbound to companies with under 250 employees and inbound to companies with 250+ employees
- You have 2+ years of demonstrated quota-carrying success in selling SaaS solutions to multi-stakeholder or technical organizations at the SMB and mid-market level, or equivalent experience in high-impact, fast-paced roles (e.g., startup, consulting, operations, or other customer-facing environments)
- You’re a builder at heart—comfortable getting deep into complex systems, marrying customer business problems with platform solutions, and iterating on ideas to drive better outcomes
- You have a strong focus on automation, integrations, and enhancing tech stack efficiency
- You have a proven track record of closing SMB and Mid-Market software deals over $50K, and meeting or exceeding your sales quota
- You bring a strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and tools like Zapier, with the ability to explain their importance in modern tech ecosystems
- You’re naturally curious about AI and regularly experiment with different AI tools to drive efficiency in your day-to-day work or personal life
- You thrive in ambiguity and are motivated by strong personal drive and grit
- You’re comfortable with high-volume, high-velocity sales activities (e.g., sending 60-90 emails per day) and can handle the scale and speed of our environment
- You have excellent communication skills with both customers and internal teams, and can develop and navigate senior-level relationships quickly and effectively
- You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast
- You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our growing Sales team
- In this role, you’ll join the Core sales team and be responsible for selling Zapier’s Automation platform offerings to customers across the globe
- They can build a pipeline through both inbound and outbound channels, can successfully sell to both executive buyers of Zapier and technical end users of the product, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Engineering, Demand Generation, RevOps, etc), and take ownership for the outcomes of the program
- Drive revenue for Zapier, owning the entire sales cycle through close
- Deeply understand your customers to uncover customer needs and pain points
- Navigate complex multi-party sales and win trust through consultative sales conversations with executives
- Collaborate and work with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Managers, Leadership, etc. to build strategic adoption plans for customers
- Own sales activity and monthly revenue forecasting in Hubspot
- Provide recommendations to our product teams to help influence our Enterprise roadmap
- Depending on your skills and interests, you may also have opportunities to:
- Partner with customers to design scalable, deeply integrated AI systems and workflows
- Ideate, build, and scale new ways of working with customers, owning projects from ideation through execution and growth
- Evangelize Zapier’s enterprise-ready, citizen development-centric approach to the market
