##Summary of Duties:
Reporting to Manager III, Corporate Asset Management, the Data and Systems Analyst, Corporate Asset Management is responsible for the maintenance, operation, training, development, implementation, and monitoring of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems for the Corporate Asset Management section.
##Work Performed:
- Develop and monitor Corporate Asset Management information registries and hierarchies, and administer asset management system needs and changes.
- Conduct business process reviews; recommend process or operational changes, including new and improved business solutions.
- Recommend cost effective solutions using technology, staff, and other resources, and monitor and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of approved systems in meeting their intended objectives.
- Implement and maintain a corporate asset management registry which includes asset condition programs and performance metrics for existing infrastructure, with risk-based evaluation and prioritization for repair and/or replacement.
- Responsible for data integrity in the enterprise asset management systems; follow-up with individuals responsible for data collection in the field to ensure conformance with standards and procedures, and accurate data collection and entry.
- Address and resolve inquiries and concerns from users and other staff on corporate asset management related matters.
- Identify and resolve data gaps which impact asset management programs and priorities.
- Coordinate priorities for asset management schedules, software updates, and asset management plan updates; working with Corporate Asset Management and other divisional staff across the Corporation to prepare and analyze data and ensure compliance with asset management practices to facilitate successful integration.
- Provide training and technical guidance and content expertise to staff regarding features and uses of enterprise asset management hardware and software; contact software developers and vendors to resolve issues as required.
- Maintain knowledge of technologies and best practices applicable to asset management.
- Plan and deliver presentations to management, such as analysis or recommendations regarding technology, communication requirements, equipment, or software acquisition and replacement.
- Assist in the development of capital budget and tangible capital assets reports.
- Participate in meetings and committee work related to the establishment and maintenance of the Corporate Asset Management program. Participate in corporate-wide initiatives in which corporate asset management requires input or representation, as requested.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
##Qualifications:
Completion of an Advanced (three year) Community College diploma in engineering, or computer science or completion of a related two-year diploma combined with completion of a one-year Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate.
##Experience:
Minimum of three years’ previous related experience.
##Specialized Training & Licenses:
Eligibility for membership or pursuing a designation with Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) is an asset.
Skills and abilities in the following areas are necessary:
- Clear communicator with effective presentation skills.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Knowledge of and experience in Geospatial Information System (GIS) and GIS data management practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in database management software.
- Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and various software.
##Compensation & Other Information:
57,720- 82,894 (Level 12)
This posting is for one permanent full-time position being filled on a permanent basis.
Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
These hours of work are subject to change in accordance with the Collective Agreement and may include evening hours and Saturdays.
