About Us

The Admissions Team in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is responsible for processing all applications to the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

Responsibilities

Ensuring all incoming graduate applications are complete. Following up with applicants regarding missing documentation.

Assessing incoming applications, including calculating an average, assigning admission conditions and determining a basis of admission.

Serve as the contact person for applicants with admission related inquires, including telephone, email and in person.

Scan incoming transcripts

Qualifications:
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Administrative Field.

Experience

  • Two years customer service experience. Previous experience in an academic environment an asset.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of educational systems around the world preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based software
  • Good general knowledge of the University environment
  • Knowledge of the specialized needs of graduate student applicants and graduate students
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Possess a reputation for resourcefulness, initiative and being a strong team player
