About the role

The Manager, Regional Pricing is responsible for expanding our regional pricing capabilities by enabling more responsive, demand-based pricing tailored to regional conditions. By institutionalizing rules-based governance for when and how regional pricing overrides base pricing, the manager will ensure clarity and consistency across teams with the goal of improving customer value perception and competitiveness in key regions where national pricing creates friction or underperformance.

The Manager, Regional Pricing plays a critical role in the end-to-end delivery of regional pricing capabilities, including solutioning across people, process, and technology dimensions. This is achieved through close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Pricing & Promotions, Merchandising, Planning & Strategy, Enterprise Capabilities, Finance and IT. They will lead the business through the vision build and delivery of solutions, including strategy definition, requirements gathering, integrated process design, implementation, change management, and sustainment transition. The ability to quickly understand, analyze, and synthesize diverse business information is critical to facilitate the clear articulation of end state vision and benefits and to ensure business requirements and solutions deliver on benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Support the definition of regional pricing process, calendar, and RACI, aligned to the national approach, and the creation of guardrails for regionalized regular and promotional pricing, aligned to national guardrails
  • Determine and set up regionalized data requirements, with cross functional data teams and data owners
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to develop necessary modelling, including store cluster algorithms to determine zones, and update regular and promotional forecasters and optimizers to drive selection of SKUs, price points, and promotional flightings for regional strategy
  • Work with IT and end business users to Integrate regional pricing functionality (regional zones, SKUs, pricing, flightings) into existing pricing optimization processes
  • Create and lead comprehensive change management plans to support the implementation of new regional pricing capabilities and processes
  • Manage new operational processes required to support the ramp up of regional pricing capabilities
  • Identify existing processes that require adjustments to support the ramp up of regional pricing capabilities, working closely with cross functional teams to define requirements and prioritize work
  • Facilitate meetings to design future state capabilities or processes, ensuring that all stakeholders are involved and their input is considered
  • Drive alignment sessions with senior management to gain support and approval for all levels of business capability and process design
  • Lead large and diverse cross-functional teams to capture detailed business requirements and ensure they are reflected in the future state design
  • Provide support to cross-functional business clients to ensure their successful participation and support within a change and program environment

What You Bring

  • 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in a management role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand, analyze, and synthesize diverse business information
  • Ability to grasp complex processes and systems, and translate them into actionable business solutions
  • Proficiency in identifying and solving intricate problems by making informed trade-offs between scope, time, quality, and effectiveness
  • Capability to design and implement integrated process solutions that align with strategic objectives
  • Strong understanding of pricing processes and associated accountabilities
  • Proven ability to build and execute projects and initiatives across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills at all levels
  • Exceptional communication skills for senior management, Dealers, and cross-functional stakeholders, supported by the ability to effectively summarize information
  • Understanding of optimization and models is an asset
  • Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, while competence with Microsoft Project and Visio is advantageous
