We are seeking a permanent, full-time experienced Junior Corporate Paralegal to join our Saint John office.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and file annual returns and resolutions;

• Updating corporate minute books with various documents and filings;

• Conducting corporate due diligence searches, including but not limited to Bank Act, Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, Worker’s Compensation Board and Labour Standards;

• Obtaining certificates of good standing and copies of corporate registry documents;

• Maintain detailed and accurate client and administrative files;

• Meet deadlines, ability to multi-task and reprioritize; and

• All tasks must be performed with a high degree of detail and accuracy.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Spoken and written proficiency in English is a must;
• 1+ years of corporate legal assistant experience;
• Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution considered an asset;
• Above average proficiency in Microsoft applications;
• Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented; and
• Superior organizational abilities and time management.
