Atlantica is recruiting for a Project Coordinator for our office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The Project Coordinator, addresses technical inquiries in the field, maintains working relationships with the client, the General Contractor, and other subcontractors, and assists in various administrative and technical aspects of project management.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
Knowledge of construction industry through relevant experience, training or education (New grads welcome!)
Strong organizational skills and administrative abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Experience using Procore/Bluebeam/Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD would be considered an asset
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance (reliability and/or secret clearance)
What will you do as a Project Coordinator?
Assist Project Manager and Foreperson’s, where applicable, in the day-to-day duties of project and service administration. Establish and build good relationships with peers and clients by responding to requests and communicating information in a timely manner. Participate in preparation of quality and safety documentation, provide administrative support for estimating, procurement, drafting, and technical reviews & design builds. Assist with preparation of material takeoffs, budgets and fabrication schedules. Liaise with partners, consultants and clients as required. Review and understand scope of work, project specifications, design instructions, and supplier information.
Maintain technical and financial construction documents workflow
