Dental Receptionist – Full-Time

Our team at Bridgewater Richmond Dentist is seeking a full-time Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic and the backbone of our administrative operations.
The ideal Receptionist for our team is someone who not only loves interacting with patients and being their first point of contact but also enjoys working behind the scenes to organize and execute the day to day administration and coordination of the office.
123Dentist is Canada’s largest majority dentist-owned network of dental practices, with almost 500 locations nationwide and nearly 8,000 employees. Providing a long-term career in a growing network located in multiple communities across the country, at all levels of the industry.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
- Act as the first point of contact to patients, particularly through welcoming and hosting in-person, over the telephone, and through email, with a view to deliver outstanding customer/patient service
- Manage and schedule patient appointments efficiently; optimizing the time and calendars of the dental professional team by minimizing gaps between appointments
- Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and families that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression
- Build patient relationship through ongoing dialogue and resolving any escalated patient issues promptly
- Input patient information (including insurance information) with high degree of confidentially, into the practice management software
- Responsible for the organization and co-ordination of office supplies, deliveries, etc.

SCHEDULE**:**
- 32 - 40 Hours a week
- 4 Days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Administrator
- Completion of a Dental Administration or Receptionist Program or Certificate
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix) is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong customer service mindset and attention to detail
- A collaborative and organized individual who thrives in a team-based environment
