Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex systems across various manufacturing and automation environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing advanced engineering tools and software, contributing to the optimization of manufacturing processes and system performance. The Service Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, and other automation equipment Develop and review system schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD drawings using SolidWorks, Creo, and other drafting tools Design, simulate, and analyze system components utilizing MATLAB, LabVIEW, and system design principles Support manufacturing operations by providing technical expertise in mechanical engineering, system integration, and process optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for complex mechanical and electrical challenges Conduct on-site service visits for installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and automation systems Assist in the development of technical documentation, schematics, and user manuals for systems and equipment Provide training to clients or internal staff on system operation, troubleshooting procedures, and safety protocols Requirements: Proven experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo), and schematic design Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and system design principles Proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, Drafting, Schematics interpretation, and CAD tools Familiarity with CNC machinery, system integration, and automation controls Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients Prior experience working in manufacturing or industrial automation environments is preferred This position offers an engaging environment where innovation meets practical application.
