Position Summary The Director of Consolidations & Corporate Accounting is responsible for overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financial results and managing key corporate accounting activities. This role ensures accurate consolidated financial statements, recording of all PPAs, appropriate elimination rules, and effective coordination across subsidiaries and functional teams.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the monthly consolidation of financial results across multiple legal entities and business units
  • Review and ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations
  • Oversee foreign currency translation and consolidation adjustments
  • Manage monthly close calendar and all communications
  • Support adoption of new accounting standards impacting consolidation and corporate accounting
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve close efficiency and data accuracy

Corporate Accounting

  • Manage corporate-level accounting activities, including equity, stock-based compensation, debt, and corporate allocations
  • Oversee accounting for intercompany loans, management fees, and shared services
  • Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS) and company accounting policies

Audit & Controls

  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses
  • Maintain strong internal controls over consolidation and corporate accounting processes
  • Assist with SOX compliance and documentation, if applicable

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA/CA preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in consolidation and corporate accounting
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, intercompany eliminations, PPAs, and FX translation
  • Experience supporting audits and maintaining strong internal controls (SOX assets)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and consolidation systems; advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to manage a complex close process and drive process improvements
