Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. What You’ll Bring
You will hold a valid BC teaching certificate and bring demonstrated experience teaching Art at the middle and/or senior school level. Experience teaching MYP or DP Art is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be a passionate and practicing artist-educator who inspires creativity, curiosity, and self-expression in students. You will bring experience working across a variety of artistic mediums and techniques, with the ability to design engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences that encourage experimentation, creative risk-taking, and artistic growth.
You will have a strong grounding in inquiry-based and project-based learning, along with a demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive, student-centred classroom where diverse perspectives and artistic voices are valued. We are seeking an innovative educator who brings energy, imagination, and contemporary approaches to art education, and who takes pride in showcasing and celebrating student learning through exhibitions, displays, and community engagement opportunities.
