Role Description This is a full-time, Application Developer role is based in Mississauga, ON. Richards-Wilcox Canada is seeking an Application Developer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you will develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications, integrations, and Configure One (Revealize) CPQ solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable web applications and contribute to AI-enabled business solutions that improve productivity, automation, and user experience.

This position is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys solving business challenges, learning new technologies, and delivering innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities Develop, test, implement, and maintain CPQ applications, web applications, integrations, and services. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Support projects from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Provide technical expertise on CPQ capabilities, best practices, and system enhancements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and data-related issues. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product enhancements. Write clean, maintainable, and high-performing code following established development standards. Learn and work with new technologies, frameworks, and tools as required. Contribute to AI-driven initiatives, including intelligent automation, workflow optimization, document processing, recommendation systems, and conversational assistants. Support the evaluation of AI solutions with consideration for data quality, security, reliability, and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications and Skills Required: Experience with ASP.NET, .NET/C#, AngularJS, or modern front-end frameworks. Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design. Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, integrations, and distributed systems. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Experience integrating third-party applications and enterprise systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently. Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their business applications. Experience using AI-related tools, services, or APIs such as Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot, or intelligent automation platforms. Understanding of responsible AI practices, including privacy, security, and model validation.

Preferred: Experience with Configure One (Revealize) or other Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) platforms. Experience with Quote-to-Cash business processes. Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience building AI-enabled solutions such as chat assistants, recommendation engines, workflow automation, document summarization, or intelligent search. Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, or MLOps concepts. Experience with Python for automation, AI, analytics, or data processing. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment practices.

Education Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered. Coursework, certifications, or hands-on project experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Intelligent Automation are considered strong assets. Microsoft Azure, AI, cloud, or software development certifications are considered assets.
