The opportunity: The Manager, Technology Services is a leader that contributes to shaping and executing the technology services tactical & strategic roadmap. This position combines hands-on engagement with strategic planning, team development, and the continuous evolution of technology practices across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with technology services resources to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborating with other technological and business teams.
- Serving as the enterprise Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for advisor onboards from a technology perspective.
- Championing industry best practices and continuous improvement.
- Driving standardization of technology practices and toolsets across teams and business lines.
- Developing KPIs to measure and communicate performance and delivery outcomes to senior leadership.
- Guiding complex, large-scale deployments across multi-cloud environments.
- Maintaining hands-on engagement in cyber security, performance optimization, and incident resolution as needed.
- Collaborating with service desk and infrastructure teams to provide guidance.
- Acting as a senior escalation point for enterprise operational issues.
- Cultivating strong working relationships with business & technology executives.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, technical diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years total experience in infrastructure and operations space.
- Advanced expertise in system administration.
- Advanced expertise in infrastructure.
- Proven experience scaling infrastructure capabilities in regulated industries (financial services).
- Experience with ITSM, incident management, compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, etc.).
- Management of multiple applications and systems.
- Collaborative configuration of networking and security properties.
- Collaborative automated and manual deployment of services and applications.
- Collaborative infrastructure management and system administration.
- Fundamentals of virtual machines and containers.
- Fundamentals of security.
- Fundamentals of networking.
- Fundamentals of enterprise monitoring.
- Visionary leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making skills, and business acumen.
- Skilled in coaching and performance management.
- Strategic thinker with operational execution capabilities.
- Change agent with a track record of driving transformation in complex organizations leadership.
