About The Role Drive for the Premiere Ready-Mix Provider. This isn’t just a driving job; it’s a career with Amrize Canada Inc., a leader in the Ontario construction industry. We are looking for dedicated Class AZ or DZ drivers to join our team and be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of concrete to various job sites in and around Windsor & surrounding area. Hourly Wage to Start: $33.20/Hour Probationary Rate as per the collective agreement.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Deliver Excellence: Safely transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to the region’s most iconic infrastructure and residential projects.
  • Master the Machine: Operate late-model, well-maintained Class AZ or DZ trucks (Mainly automatic transmission), performing meticulous pre/post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is road-ready.
  • Be the Face of Amrize Canada Inc.: Act as a professional brand ambassador on-site, fostering strong relationships with our diverse customer base.
  • Safety Leadership: Champion a "Zero Harm" culture by adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensing: Valid Class AZ or DZ Driver’s License with an Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
  • Technical Skill: Proven experience operating manual transmissions.
  • Experience: Previous experience in construction delivery or heavy vehicle operation is an asset. We do provide training and safety training for those new to the industry.
  • Reliability: A clean driving record (CVOR/Abstract) and a rock-solid commitment to safety.
  • Physical Readiness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including climbing truck ladders and lifting chutes.
  • Flexibility: Availability for Monday to Friday shifts, with Saturdays and evenings as required by our high-volume project schedule.

Additional Requirements

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
