NOW HIRING:
Body Shop Assistant

LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Amherst, Amherst, NS

HOURS:
Full time, Permanent. Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.

WAGES:
$16.50 - $21.00 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience).

Your day could involve washing cars, organizing parts, shuttling vehicles or helping with rentals. You're always on the go and play a key part in helping things run smoothly.

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical and automotive parts knowledge
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable and show initiative
• Physically capable
• Valid Canadian driver’s license required.

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Detailing:
  • Clean and detail the interior and exterior of cars, vans, trucks, and other vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Inspect vehicles for any damage and report concerns to management.
• General Assistance:
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Parking lot organization
  • Assist with snow removal during winter months.
  • Shuttle customers and move/park vehicles as required.
  • Other duties as required
• Parts:
  • Receive all incoming parts to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect all parts for damage and report any damages right away.
  • Label, organize, and place parts in the correct bins.
