Location: Parkland Middle School, Cranbrook, BC
Contract Type: Part-time Continuing (0.857 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $60,325 to $101,649, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each
posting.
Job Summary:
French Immersion & Humanities Teacher, Grades 7-9
0.857 FTE continuing contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion
of the posting process.
Must be bilingual and have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience
in French Immersion at the Intermediate level. Must have a degree/formal
training and or teaching experience in Humanities.
This position is tentatively scheduled to include French Second Language 9,
Sciences Humaines 9, English 7 and Social Studies 7. Please note that all work
will be on site.
