Must Have

• 8+ years of demonstrated QA experience, including leading QA teams, defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants
• Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• Experience on Automation testing script using Selenium, JMeter, Python or Java.

• Conceptual skills to see the big picture and assist in integrating QA/testing processes and standards

Description Scope

• Contribute towards testing activities for the delivery and product management life cycle of the CDT Integrations project. The resource will be responsible for the following activities:
• Lead in the development of test strategy, preparation of test cases / scenarios, test scripts, regression test cases/scenarios required to verify solution and system.
• Manage all test activities including stress/load testing.
• Execute test scripts to verify solution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Execute the automated test scripts and create test reports.
• Reconcile, manage, record and track system or functional defects, break/fixes identified during unit and user acceptance testing.
• Communication with project manager and developers to ensure application quality and alignment with project timelines

Assignment Deliverables

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues to management.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test plans, test scripts, test data and data validation.
• Automate all the test cases using automation scripts.
• Supervise the executing of manual test cases and report test results.
• Oversee the documentation of software defects and track resolution and communicate defect related issues to project team.
• Development of test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality of various modules.
• Ability to create test plan, test cases and test scripts to validate those changes made to the application.
• Plan, facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing and lead UAT sessions.
• Provide guidance to the business users during User Acceptance Testing
• Review user documentation and provide feedback to improve application alignment and clarity of the information.
• Management and maintenance of defect log and communication of defect related issues to project manager and project team
• Working closely with QA teams and developers, leading triage sessions and ensuring appropriate prioritization of defects
• Working closely with the client lead, prioritize, schedule and remediate defects.
• Prepare test data sets that mimic real-world scenarios, ensuring the data covers a wide range of cases and scenarios.
• Ability to create and execute database queries to extract relevant data.
• Execute and evaluate manual/automated test cases and report test results.
• Hold and facilitate test plan/test case reviews with cross functional team members.
• Write automation test script using Selenium, JMeters, and Python or Java.

Experience And Skill Set Requirements Criteria 1: Technical Skills - 35 Points%

• Ability to write effective, reusable test cases and test scenarios.
• Expert of using Azure DevOps, Jira tools to tracke test suites and bugs.
• Experience in automating tests using Python, Java as well as industry recognized test frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, JMeters
• Ability to performance API test
• Use SQL queries validate data and test backend logic.
• Knowledge and experience of automation tools and use of version control systems on one or more platforms
• Demonstrate knowledge of regression, data and integration testing with enterprise level applications/solutions.
• Experience executing functional tests, non-functional tests, data testing and systems level integration tests
• Able to extract and retrieve data by using database queries (e.g., SQL)
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

Criteria 2: Quality Assurance Skills - 35 Points%

• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants
• Ability to catch inconsistencies, bugs, and edge cases others may overlook
• Ability to analyze and break down complex systems and understand how different components interact
• Quickly identify the root cause of issues and propose solutions
• Clearly report defects, write test cases, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
• Meet tight testing deadlines while ensuring test quality.

Criteria 3: Business Skills - 25 Points%

• Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills; strong verbal and written communication skills
• Provide periodic status reports, present test data defects/migration strategy and approach to executives and other stakeholders.

Criteria 4: Public Sector Experience - 5 Points%

• Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations

Note This position is currently listed as "Onsite" ; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid" , working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

The VOR Master Service Agreement expires on April 5, 2027, with a six (6) month survival clause included for Statements of Work (SOWs) allowing them to continue until October 5th, 2027 (if operationally required), leaving some Contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal 2026-27.

If the current statement of work expires on October 5th, 2027, the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond October 5, 2027, based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable, only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond October 5, 2027, and be upon the same terms, conditions, and covenants contained in the SOW.

The start date is subject to change based on security clearances and contract signing timelines.
