About The Opportunity
Our client is a leading global enterprise software organization delivering cloud-native SaaS solutions to major financial institutions worldwide. They are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join a growing implementation team responsible for delivering large-scale enterprise software solutions into Tier-1 banking environments.
This is not a traditional Enterprise Architect role.
The successful candidate will remain highly hands-on while providing technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle. You'll work directly with enterprise customers, lead architecture discussions, solve complex integration challenges, mentor development teams, and continue contributing to software design and development.

Key Responsibilities
Lead technical architecture and solution design for enterprise SaaS implementations. Act as the primary technical advisor during customer engagements, architecture workshops, and discovery sessions. Design scalable cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern integration patterns. Produce architecture documentation, technical designs, implementation roadmaps, and solution blueprints. Remain hands-on with software development, design reviews, troubleshooting, and technical leadership. Design enterprise integration strategies utilizing REST APIs, messaging platforms, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems. Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Success teams. Guide customers through cloud adoption, implementation best practices, and enterprise architecture decisions. Participate in technical workshops, customer presentations, requirements gathering, and solution demonstrations. Ensure solutions meet scalability, resiliency, security, performance, and maintainability requirements. Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across project teams. Support customer-facing technical discussions and implementation planning. Stay current on emerging cloud technologies, architectural patterns, and software engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Software Engineer, or Senior Java Developer. Strong hands-on development experience using Java and Spring Boot. Experience designing enterprise Microservices architectures. Strong REST API design and enterprise integration experience. Experience implementing enterprise SaaS solutions for external customers. Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience leading technical discussions with enterprise customers and stakeholders. Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise architecture principles. Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or other complex enterprise environments. Excellent communication, consulting, and presentation skills.
