About the role
DESCRIPTION
Cummins is looking for a Customer Representative to complete our Customer Center team in Canada.
This position provides routine support to customers, including end-users, distributors, and/or dealers, seeking information through various mediums, under limited supervision
In this role, you will have the following impacts:
- Document customer request information in the appropriate Cummins systems.
- Provide prompt assistance to customers using various means of communication.
- Multi-skill/multi-channel support (chat/email/phone).
- Solve common customer problems with a basic understanding of Cummins processes, systems, and practices.
- Escalates unusual issues by providing documentation throughout the process.
- Understand new and existing Cummins processes, systems and practices.
- Make suggestions on how existing processes can be more efficient or customer-oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Diplomas-certifications :• High School Diploma
Experience:
- Requires relevant work experience; Prior technical and/or customer service experience is required.
- Bilingual French/English (written and spoken) is required for this position
- Having previous experience in this industry and customer service is a must
- Some knowledge of the different industries we work with (marine, automotive, industrial, power generation, etc.) as a whole is an asset.
You should be able to :

Establish a professional relationship with your customers to increase loyalty to Cummins products.

Understand contact center policies and procedures.

Be comfortable with a variety of software.

Previous experience in this industry and customer service is a must.

Some knowledge of the different industries we work with (maritime, automotive, industrial, power generation, etc.) is an overall asset.
About the position:

This is a 100% remote position (must reside in Canada)

Work schedule from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday (Eastern Time)

Salary starting at $55,000 per year
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary corresponds to experience. Additional benefits vary from location to location and include options such as our company pension plan, medical/dental/life insurance, health savings account, as well as a comprehensive personal and professional benefits package.
