Executive Assistant – Entry Level Opportunity
Location: Markham, ON (4 days in-office, work from home Fridays)

Our client, a fast-growing start-up in the banking and financial services sector, is seeking a motivated and highly organized Executive Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work directly with senior executives, and grow into leadership roles within operations or senior management.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as a key liaison between the company and the bank, helping maintain strong relationships and smooth communication.
- Manage executive calendars, coordinate schedules, and organize meetings.
- Anticipate and support the day-to-day needs of the executive team so they can focus on strategic priorities.
- Coordinate activities between different teams to keep projects moving forward.
- Adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a start-up environment.
- Occasionally work outside normal business hours based on executive priorities.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills — you can juggle multiple priorities without missing details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable interacting with people at all levels.
- A proactive approach — you’re always two steps ahead and ready to solve problems.
- Comfort with administrative tasks like scheduling, meeting coordination, and project follow-ups.
- Interest in (or willingness to learn about) the banking and financial services sector.
Qualifications
- Some experience in administration, coordination, or support roles (co-op, internship, or part-time experience counts!).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with scheduling or project management tools.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a high-performing team.
