Role: Transcription Specialist (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: $10 - $20/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Audio Transcription Expert to work on a contract basis. This role involves producing high-quality written transcripts from complex audio files to support the training and evaluation of advanced AI systems. Your work will directly contribute to shaping how AI models learn, reason, and perform across diverse domains such as finance, healthcare, engineering, and more. The position emphasizes attention to detail, multilingual communication, and adherence to strict data confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Listen to and transcribe complex audio files with precision, ensuring alignment with project guidelines and quality standards.
• Handle transcription tasks across multiple languages, dialects, and subject matters while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Uphold strict data confidentiality and security protocols for all transcribed material to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with project managers and fellow transcriptionists to validate transcriptions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to style guides.
• Review and proofread transcripts for grammatical accuracy, terminology consistency, and adherence to domain-specific vocabulary.
• Process and format speech data efficiently to support downstream AI training and evaluation workflows.
• Adapt quickly to varying audio quality, speaker accents, and technical terminology in dynamic project environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in professional audio transcription with demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in producing clean, error-free transcripts.
• Fluency in at least one additional language or dialect beyond English, with strong listening comprehension and written expression in both.
• Familiarity with AI-driven transcription tools and software platforms, including the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and security throughout all transcription tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment with clear communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in domains such as healthcare, finance, or engineering is beneficial but not required — your language expertise and attention to detail are paramount.
• Demonstrated proficiency in proofreading and editing transcripts for clarity, tone, and adherence to project-specific style guides.
