This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, discipline, and strategic visibility across a fast-growing international e-commerce business operating across multiple markets and sales channels. You will oversee end-to-end financial management, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls in a dynamic, fully remote environment. The position requires strong ownership of month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, and finance to support data-driven decision-making. Accountabilities: Lead and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting. Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including treasury, general ledger, and financial reporting functions while driving process efficiencies and automation. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity, alignment with internal policies, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards. Develop and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring proper authorization frameworks and protection of company assets. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, including cash flow planning, variance analysis, and performance reporting. Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting while ensuring quality control over all financial outputs. Requirements: CPA designation required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 7+ years of combined accounting and finance experience in progressively responsible roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and core accounting principles. Proven experience managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements. Hands-on experience implementing internal controls and improving financial processes in a growing organization. Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Experience working with external auditors and third-party vendors.
