Position:

Croesus is seeking a Senior Director, Marketing to lead the development and execution of our marketing plan, as a critical component of our overall business growth strategy. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leadership role has overall responsibility for elevating our brand, strengthening our market presence, bringing new products to market, and working closely with the rest of our commercial team to drive Croesus’ continued growth and market diversification.

The Senior Director, Marketing will help shape how Croesus shows up in the wealth management technology market:as an innovative, client-focused and community engaged company. This management role will define, lead and execute marketing strategy for Croesus including brand and product positioning, ABM marketing content marketing, digital marketing, events, and broad-based go-to-market campaigns tailored to each market segment and territory to maximize impact and growth.

The role will also be responsible for building and driving market research capabilities including customer insights, market trends and competitive intelligence. These insights will inform brand strategy, product marketing, commercialization plans, and sales enablement.

Marketing Plan Definition and Execution

Define, manage, and execute the Croesus marketing strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business growth plan and strategic vision; Develop and lead go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, including target audience definition, positioning, messaging, launch planning, and sales enablement. Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Client Services, and other internal stakeholders; Enable revenue growth through integrated marketing initiatives aligned with sales and business development activities; Develop demand generation strategies and multi-channel campaigns designed to generate awareness, consideration and qualified opportunities for Sales; As a member of the extended management team, produce and deliver marketing plan updates for regular Executive leadership review; Develop marketing content plans, ensure execution by the team, and approve final content; Manage relationships with marketing vendors, industry associations, market analysts, and other strategic partners; Oversee and ensure best practices in the use of social media, the company website, and the corporate intranet; Oversee the execution of public-facing company events, including conferences, roadshows, industry events, charitable events, and community initiatives.

Market Research:

Build, manage, and continuously improve Croesus’ market research capabilities to support strategic marketing, commercialization, and business development decisions; Develop and lead research initiatives that deepen understanding of customer needs, buyer behavior, decision-making processes, and market expectations across target segments; Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, regulatory changes, competitive activity, and emerging technologies within the wealth management technology sector; Conduct market and customer analyses to identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, product positioning, and market expansion, both domestically and internationally; Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform go-to-market strategies, product messaging, brand positioning, campaign planning, sales enablement, and product roadmap discussions; Develop customer personas, market segmentation, and territory-specific insights to support targeted marketing and sales initiatives;

External Communications and Public Relations

Produce press releases, public announcements, and social media communications; Act as the primary point of contact for media relations; Manage and produce external events and conferences to increase the company’s visibility within the industry, and attend when required; Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to bring the employer brand strategy to life;

Requirements:

The working language is French. Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field; More than 12-15 years of professional experience, including at least five years in a leadership role managing a B2B marketing team; More than five years of experience in the financial services industry; experience in wealth management is considered an asset; Strong experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, product launches, market positioning, demand generation, and sales enablement; Availability for occasional travel within Canada; Expertise in communications, marketing, and content development;

Skills and Competencies

Full bilingual proficiency in French and English; Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team; Strong leadership skills and ability to mobilize and engage a team; Ability to analyze and translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights; Strong business acumen and ability to connect marketing initiatives to revenue growth and market expansion.
