About the role
Role Overview D365 Functional Consultant F&O: Skills Consulting Manager / Sr. Manager based in Toronto but supporting National client facing delivery on Procurement & Supply Chain engagements and sales pursuits. Candidate to specialize in implementing and optimizing the procure-to-pay and supply chain processes within a Services (Hospitality and/or Food and Beverage would be preferred) organization. This would encompass everything from purchasing goods or services to the payment of suppliers, materials receipt to issuances, inventory and returns management. The consultant's role is to ensure that these processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with business requirements, using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Microsoft D- 365 or others. Here’s a typical job description for this role:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-9 years of prior management consulting experience with hand-on project delivery experience in client facing capacity
- Functional Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain operations, accounts payable, supplier management, and payment processing.
- System Expertise: Experience in configuring and using procurement and finance modules of ERP software, particularly in a P2P and SCM context.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate across different functional teams to implement or improve P2P and SCM solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies, potential risks, and areas for process improvement.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
