Bilingual Pursuits Specialist (English/French)

The Pursuits Specialist is a member of the Client Development group, and reports to the Manager, Pursuits. As a Pursuits Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely delivery of proposal materials, and the development of professional quality presentations for business development calls and client visits.

Major Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination, drafting, and delivery of proposals and pitch materials in both French and English
- Work closely with Partners and Business Development leads to understand client needs and objectives
- Provide strategic recommendations on how best to position Osler’s team, experience, and key differentiators
- Collaborate with the Pricing team to align messaging around pricing strategies and value‑added services
- Develop high‑quality proposals and presentations using Word and PowerPoint
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Partners and colleagues across Client Development and Marketing
- Support regular reporting on RFPs and pitches, including tracking outcomes
- Follow up with legal teams to capture bid results (wins and losses) and related insights
- Monitor procurement portals and ensure RFP addenda are distributed promptly to relevant teams
- Provide support with CRM database updates and maintenance
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure all materials align with Osler’s brand standards
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
The position requires a university degree, college diploma, or relevant work experience, with two to five years of experience in the legal or professional services industry. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be acceptable.
Knowledge and Skills
- Fluency in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong time‑management skills
- Experience with document design and assembling polished, professional materials
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong, trusted working relationships
- A proactive, thoughtful approach - someone who listens carefully, contributes ideas, and can influence effectively
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication, paired with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adjust working hours when needed
- A team player who is equally comfortable working independently
We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Compensation
The range of expected compensation for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 annually. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
