We’re looking for a Production Team Leader to join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in High Prairie, Alberta. Our mill is undergoing an exciting major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press which will make us the most modern mill in North America.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Completion of grade 12.
-
Completion of post-secondary education and/or a supervisory or leadership certificate is an asset.

3 – 5 years' experience within a manufacturing setting with wood products manufacturing preferred.

2 – 3 years' experience leading a team.
-
Strong organization and planning skills.
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

In this role you will:

Work collaboratively across teams.

Troubleshoot and find solutions as needed.

Optimize productivity and recovery.

Lead by example and set the bar for those around you by inspiring, coaching and developing your team.

Work with your team to meet production targets, budgets and managing staffing levels.
-
Identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues.
-
Ensure work is done safely and according to safety procedures.

You'll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, plus an additional northern allowance. The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 - $107,000 per year.

You'll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
