The Opportunity
Looking to grow your career in finance while being part of a fun, fast-paced team? We’re on the hunt for a detail-driven, organized, and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team part-time, year-round.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their accounting career who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple businesses, work with industry-leading systems, and be part of a company known for promoting from within.
Wage and Perks of the Job
- $22/hour starting wage (based on experience)

What You Bring to the Table
- 1–2 years of hands-on accounting or accounts payable experience (or relevant finance education)
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processing
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring tasks efficiently
- Comfortable working with accounting systems such as Sage 300, Beanworks, or similar platforms
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- A proactive, self-starter mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external vendors
- High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information
Your Days Will Look Like
- Processing accounts payable across multiple businesses within the Gibbons group
- Reviewing, coding, and submitting invoices accurately and on time
- Communicating with vendors and resolving invoice or payment inquiries
- Supporting the finance team with reconciliations and general accounting tasks
- Managing incoming mail, filing, and document organization
- Assisting with banking and administrative finance duties
- Maintaining clean, accurate, and up-to-date financial records
- Collaborating with team members to keep operations running smoothly
