Your Impact
You will be part of a global Corporate Technology Database team. Ideally looking for an experienced Lead Database Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our database environment and join a vibrant and dynamic team of Database Administrators reporting directly to the DBA Manager, this role will focus on ensuring database performance, availability, security, and scalability to support mission-critical business applications.
As a Lead Systems Analyst, you will:
- Install, Administer, monitor, and optimize enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or cloud platforms).
- Oversee database security, compliance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Partner with developers, architects, and IT teams to support application design and performance needs.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of new technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide escalation support.
What you need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of DBA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Exceptional proficiency in ORACLE and MS SQL.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and high availability.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills
