About the role

Riverside School Board is seeking a qualified Music teacher to join our team and teach across two of our elementary schools, starting January 6, 2026 until the end of the school year.

  • 80% position at William Latter Elementary School 1300 Rue Barré, Chambly, QC J3L 2V4
  • 20% position at Royal Charles Elementary School 5525 Boulevard Maricourt, Saint-Hubert, QC J3Y 1S5

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective music instruction in both English and French Immersion programs.
  • Foster a love of music and creativity in students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Quebec teaching certificate (brevet). Note: Applicants without this certification will not be considered.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Music or have at least 5 years of experience teaching music at the elementary level.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for education and a commitment to student success.
