Position Overview
Northern Force Security is currently seeking a Full-Time Security Guard for night shift coverage in the Brantford area. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to respond effectively to security situations.
Position Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)
- Valid Driver’s Licence (required)
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (required)
- Use of Force training (considered an asset)
- Clear Criminal Background Check
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
- Experience in loss prevention, surveillance, or CCTV monitoring (preferred)
- Ability to act calmly, swiftly, and responsibly during emergency situations
- Flexible availability for night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, courteous, and respectful customer service to clients and the public
- Conduct routine and scheduled patrols during assigned shifts
- Monitor premises to ensure safety, security, and compliance
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with company procedures
- Follow all Northern Force Security policies, procedures, and site post orders
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports in English
