Position: Production Coordinator, Regular Full-Time, (salary grade 2)
Reports to: Director of Creative Services.
Salary Range: $40,367 - $55,177
Purpose: Coordinating the smooth flow and operation of the Creative Services Department.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and support along with daily on-air duties to members of the Creative Services Department television Division.

Manage and maintain the daily flow of on-air elements, which include lower thirds, daily listings, station IDs and special broadcast requests.

Arrange meetings, research and set up interviews, book travel arrangements, accommodations, meals, hotels, book rental equipment when applicable.

Provide administration support of standard office functions, including letter writing, filing, message distribution, photocopying, distribution of paperwork, etc.

Transcribing promos/interstitials for captioning

Maintain music library paperwork and file with Business Affairs / Accounting.

Create monthly reports of promos and services rendered by the department.

Assist with field and studio shoots, including carrying and setup of gear as well as driving to and from locations as well as various studio duties

Coordinate collection and submission of release forms to Business Affairs on a monthly basis.

Arrange dubs, upload and download video files and digital media material as requested.

Edit and version content for air as required. Provide assistance to Preditors and Promotions Coordinator as required.

Creation of on-air graphics and lower thirds
Requirements:
- Post secondary degree or diploma, broadcast or film preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in the film and television industry
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail. Ability to check and correct spelling and grammar.
- Excellent customer service, organization and time management skills.
- Team player
- Traffic experience/ knowledge of Wide Orbit would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license an asset
