Job Description:

Job Summary

This position troubleshoots and communicates documentation discrepancy issues with customers and foreign origins. He/She audits commercial documents, applies harmonized tariff schedule codes for accurate duty assessments and ensures all federal requirements are met. This position handles general customs brokerage activities and general office and data entry tasks.

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM(must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week).

**Shift Duration:**8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time).

**Work Location:**1221 32ND AVENUE LACHINE, QC H8T 3H2 Canada.

Hourly****Wage: 16.42

Responsibilities

• Supports data entry.

• Collects supplementary information or documentation from customers, drivers, customs, etc.

• Identifies customer profile discrepancies.

• Answers standard questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs and other offices.

• Works as team member with clients, UPS employees, carriers, inbound agents, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written French (proficiency) - Required
• Excellent verbal and written **English (proficiency)**communication skills – Required
• Previous call experience – Required
• Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments
• Basic understanding of HS system
• Basic computer skills
