About the role
Ellwood Park Animal Hospital, located in Abbotsford, BC, is looking for an experienced, full-time Client Service Representative (CSR)/Receptionist/Veterinary assistant to join our team.
This individual will be an enthusiastic, punctual, responsible person with a strong work ethic to effectively serve the needs of our clients and patients in our multi-doctor, busy hospital
Job Requirements
Must have previous experience in a veterinary hospital, preferably with a certificate in a Veterinary Assistant program Create a warm, welcoming, fear-free environment for our clients and patients Demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced environment Capable of following direction from co-workers/DVMs and performing at a high standard Ability to work as part of a team Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations Positive outlook and enthusiasm Excellent time management skills Excellent client service skills Excellent communication skills
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
Answering phone calls on a multiline phone system Scheduling appointments in PIMS system (Cornerstone) Placing outbound calls to clients for follow-up and future appointment/bookings Responding and managing email correspondence Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, process payment Filing electronic documents Stocking shelves Additional administrative & housekeeping duties including cleaning of hospital, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning
